REHABILITATION SERVICES
TFRNC is pleased to announce extended physical and occupational therapy services, which will be offered in the morning AND in the afternoon, seven days a week. This extension of of our therapy program will potentially reduce the length of stay for our short-term rehabilitation clients and provide more focused treatment for our long-term care Residents. We look forward to initiating this new dimension to our existing therapy program.
Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies are available to Residents who, upon assessment, are identified as candidates for restoration of function or improvement in functional capabilities through adaptive skills training. We offer long and short term rehabilitation services and seven-day-a-week therapy.
Services offered include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies for the following:
- Amputees
- Brain Injuries
- Sensory Stimulation
- Chronic Pain
- Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders
- Post Stroke (CVA) Rehabilitation
- Musculoskeletal Disorders
- Neurological Disorders
- Therapy/Restorative
- Neuromuscular Disorders
- Use of Prosthetic and Orthotic Assistive Devices
The Rehabilitation Services Department is made up of the Physical Therapist who is the department head, and the Occupational Therapist, Speech, and Rehabilitation Assistants.
This group of professionals is dedicated to improving the quality of Resident life while restoring and maintaining function.
